An examination for professional recognition for individuals who have received higher education in foreign countries will be held on March 17.
Modern.az reports, citing the State Examination Center, that in accordance with the “Rules for the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications of Foreign States” approved by Decree No. 2306 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 18, 2023, applicants for teaching, engineering, and law specialties are required to succeed (score the passing mark) in the examination organized by the State Examination Center at the request of the Quality Assurance Agency in Education (QAAE), which operates under the Ministry of Science and Education.
The next examination for professional recognition will be held on March 17, 2026, at 11:00, via computers in the Electronic Examinations building of the SEC.
To participate in the examination, applicants registered with QAAE will be able to print their “Examination Admission Ticket” by accessing the SEC's website from March 13 and using the “Printing of Electronic Examination Admission Tickets and Results” service. The admission ticket will indicate the examination venue, building, examination time, and other necessary information.
Applicants can familiarize themselves with the program and sample test tasks for their specialties by clicking on the respective links (“Teaching”, “Engineering”, “Law”).
For applicants in teaching specialties, their specialized knowledge, professional knowledge, and logical thinking are assessed through verbal test tasks.
For applicants in engineering specialties, their specialized knowledge, professional competencies, and logical thinking are assessed through situational judgment test tasks.
For applicants in law, their specialized knowledge and logical thinking are assessed through verbal test tasks.
Participants are presented with 30 test tasks in the examination. Each correct answer is awarded one point. Incorrect answers affect the score of correct answers. Specifically, 0.25 points will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect answer.
To succeed in the examination, an applicant is required to score at least 15 points.
