The acceptance of applications for higher education institutions (11-year) and secondary specialized education institutions based on general (9-year) secondary education began on February 18, 2026, and will continue until March 5.
Modern.az reports, citing the State Examination Center, that both current year and previous years' graduates can participate in the application process.
Currently, a total of 112,693 people have registered for admission to universities and colleges.
Of these, 110,317 people have registered for higher education institutions, and 101,975 people for colleges.
It should be noted that the number of participants in the competition based on the results of the 1st stage of the 2025 graduation or test exams is 2,156 people, and the number of applicants who received a "satisfactory" grade in the "Azerbaijani Language (as a state language)" test exam in 2025 and were admitted to the competition this year without participating in this exam is 908 people.
