On March 9, a graduation exam will be held for the 11-year secondary education level.

It was announced that on March 9, 2026, the State Examination Center will hold a graduation exam for the full (11-year) secondary education level in Narimanov, Sabunchu, Khazar, Sabail, Nasimi, Nizami, Pirallahi districts of Baku city, Absheron (Part I), Sumgayit (Part I), Ganja (Part I), Goranboy, Yevlakh, Naftalan, Shamkir, Aghstafa, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Neftchala, Salyan, Ujar, Aghdash, Zardab, Kurdamir, Lankaran, Jalilabad, Barda, Tartar, Fuzuli (including M. Ulughbey No. 1 Secondary School), Zangilan (Aghali village secondary school), Jabrayil (M. Mehdizade School, Horovlu), Aghdara (Talish, Goyarkh, Hasanriz, Shikharx, Sugovushan village secondary schools), Shaki, Oghuz, Gabala, Khachmaz, Siyazan, and Shabran. On March 9, students from schools where instruction is in English will also take the exam.
The exam starts at 11:00.
15 minutes before the start of the exam – at 10:45 – the admission regime ends. Participants arriving after this will not be admitted to the exam building.
To ensure participants can enter the exam building comfortably, different arrival times have been set for the building, and this time is indicated on the participant's admission ticket. Therefore, it is necessary to arrive at the exam building at the time specified on the admission ticket.
Students must bring the following documents to the exam:
- Admission ticket for the exam;
- Original of the identity document:
a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including participants under 16 years of age) must present their identity card;
b) Foreigners and stateless persons must present their permits issued by the State Migration Service, while foreign citizens who have received refugee status and their family members must present their refugee certificates;
- Participants whose identity cards do not contain a photograph, in addition to other documents, must present a certificate issued by the educational institution with their photograph affixed (a 3x4cm photograph of the participant is affixed to the certificate and confirmed with a seal). Students can download the certificate, which must be issued by the educational institution for the graduation exam, from the SEC's website.
Exam participants can print and obtain their “Admission Ticket for the Exam” from the SEC's website via the internet starting from February 24.
It should be noted that in the cities and regions where the exam is held, a total of 236 exam buildings and 4311 exam halls have been allocated. For the management of the exams, 236 general exam supervisors, 691 exam supervisors, 5388 invigilators, 764 admission regime employees (security), and 236 building representatives have been assigned.
In the exam to be held on March 9, the participation of 58138 students is expected.
52 students with disabilities (visually impaired, cerebral palsy, hearing impaired, and others) will also participate in the exam. Special halls have been allocated in the exam buildings to ensure these applicants can take the exam comfortably, and individual invigilators have been assigned to persons with visual impairments determined to have 81-100 percent impairment of bodily functions. Conditions have also been created for students with mobility impairments to enter and move within the building and hall. Furthermore, special training has been conducted with the invigilators assigned to participants with disabilities.
Currently, training seminars are being held with invigilators, exam supervisors, and security personnel who will participate in the exams. All exam buildings have been inspected, and the necessary conditions have been created in the exam halls for applicants to take the exam comfortably.
To ensure security, re-inspections are also being carried out at the exam centers, and the exam halls, entrance-exit doors, and buildings are sealed and placed under the protection of employees of the Main Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
