Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with newly appointed directors of general education institutions located in the cities of Baku, Ganja, Sumgayit, and various regions.

It was noted that the minister first congratulated the school leaders on their appointment to the new position and wished them success in their activities.
Emin Amrullayev stated that, according to the rules established by the Ministry of Science and Education, the purpose of selecting directors through competition is to ensure professional and effective management in schools.
The Minister of Science and Education emphasized that directors are the main managing persons responsible for the development of the school, and the importance of their operating based on strategic management principles.
Emin Amrullayev, touching upon the importance of increasing the prestige of schools and teachers in society, also brought attention to the modern challenges facing general education. The minister, drawing attention to the importance of proper organization of the pedagogical process and adherence to discipline rules in schools, noted the responsibilities of general education institution leaders, the points that need attention in this regard, and measures aimed at forming a healthy learning environment and improving management work.
The minister stated that improving the quality of education should be among the director's main activities. A systematic control mechanism should be established for the teaching-learning process, the quality of lessons should be monitored, lesson observations should be conducted, the learning process should be properly organized, and the improvement of methodological work should be kept in focus.
Furthermore, the Minister of Science and Education noted the importance of school leaders establishing regular communication with teachers, students, and parents and the necessity of carrying out work towards forming an environment based on mutual trust.
The meeting continued in an atmosphere of mutual exchange of views and interactive discussion with the school directors, and solutions to the raised issues were discussed, and relevant assignments and recommendations regarding future activity directions were given to the school leaders.
