In 2025, the test examination stage was organized in 39 examination centers across 18 different cities and regions of the country, with the participation of a total of 22.3 thousand teachers. The number of first-time participants in certification was 19.1 thousand people, and the number of participants in re-certification was 3.3 thousand people.
According to Modern.az, this was reflected in the Cabinet of Ministers' report on its activities in 2025.
At the same time, the interview stage of re-certification was held, and 1430 teachers were involved in this stage. Of them, 1318 people were successful, 35 people showed insufficient results, and 78 people did not participate in the interview.
16.6 thousand teachers who participated in certification for the first time and successfully completed the test stage were also invited to the interview stage. In the interviews for teachers belonging to this category, there were 16.4 thousand successful and 25 unsuccessful results, and the number of absentees was 126 people.
A total of 353 educators operating under the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were invited to the certification examination; 333 educators participated in the examination, of whom 280 people showed successful and 53 people showed unsuccessful results. Educators who achieved successful results were involved in the interview stage.
A 35% increase is added to the salaries of 6.6 thousand teachers who participated in the certification examination and scored 51 points or higher, while a 10% increase is added to the salaries of 11.3 thousand teachers who scored between 30-50 points. To date, 73.3 thousand teachers have passed certification and receive differentiated salaries. The average teaching load of teachers who passed certification has increased from 17.5 to 19.5.
