In 2025, test examinations for teacher recruitment were conducted in a total of 44 examination centers, and 23.2 thousand candidates who scored the passing mark were invited to the interview stage. Additionally, the interview stage of the teacher recruitment competition was organized, and 3.4 thousand people who succeeded in the interview were appointed to positions with an indefinite employment contract, while 2.2 thousand people were appointed with a fixed-term employment contract.
According to Modern.az, this was reflected in the report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2025.
Based on the results of the appeal stage of the interview, an additional 67 candidates were employed with an indefinite contract. The occupancy rate of vacant positions for main subjects exceeded 90%.
Also, as a result of competitions for the recruitment and transfer of school directors, a total of 153 people were appointed to director positions in the first half of 2025. Of these, 146 were successful candidates in competitions for general education institutions with up to 500 students. Approximately 80 directors were rotated during the year.
