US President Donald Trump promised during a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the result of an agreement with Iran would be the closure of Iran's nuclear program.
According to Modern.az, "The Times of Israel" newspaper reported this, citing a high-ranking Israeli official.
"Trump tried to convince Netanyahu that the final agreement with Iran would lead to the abolition of its nuclear program," it was stated.
According to the newspaper's source, Netanyahu, in turn, told Trump that Israel would retain the right to act "against any threat, anywhere." This particularly applies to Lebanon.
“The Times of Israel” newspaper emphasized that D. Trump agreed with this principle.
