High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zare Sinanyan paid a working visit to Israel.
Modern.az reports that on December 17, Zare Sinanyan, together with the leadership of the Union of Armenian Israelis, visited Aznavour Square in Petah Tikva and laid wreaths at the "Armenian Genocide" monument there.
On the same day, the High Commissioner met with representatives of the Armenian community from Tel Aviv, Jaffa, and Petah Tikva at the St. Nicholas Armenian Monastery in Jaffa.
During the meeting, Sinanyan discussed initiatives with diaspora members for the activation and transformation of the Armenian diaspora into an influential force in Israel.
