Samvel Babayan appeared in “AnewZ”'s film.
According to Modern.az, one of the individuals speaking about Ruben Vardanyan in the documentary film “The oligarch’s design” from “AnewZ” TV's investigative series, which premiered today, is Samvel Babayan, the commander-in-chief of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army between 1994 and 2000, and the representative of the Dashink party, affiliated with the Dashnaktsutyun party, in the so-called Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
He is also a participant of the First Karabakh War and was known by the nickname "Samo" during that period. He is considered one of those who committed the Khojaly genocide.
It should be noted that the film, which took 11 months to shoot, was filmed in 8 countries, including Armenia.
During his speech, he emphasized that he never thought like Vardanyan and did not consider him a leader.
