I hope that exports from Armenia to Azerbaijan will also begin soon.
Modern.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at a briefing held after a government meeting.
He noted that discussions on this topic are not political – agreements must be reached between companies.
"If it becomes clear that the government needs to do something to make these agreements possible, we will do it," Pashinyan stated.
The Prime Minister also recalled that he thanked President Ilham Aliyev at the Eurasian Union meeting for creating conditions for cargo transit from Azerbaijan to Armenia, adding that this was the right step.
"I thanked Ilham Aliyev, and I did the right thing. It would be strange if Yerevan did not express its position on this issue in as many different venues as possible".
