Saudi Arabia is negotiating for the purchase of multi-role JF-17 fighter jets from Pakistan.
Modern.az reports that negotiations are currently underway on a $4 billion deal.
The deal may also include the forgiveness of Pakistan's debt to Saudi Arabia, amounting to up to $2 billion.
It should be recalled that the multi-role JF-17, a fourth-generation fighter jet, is jointly produced by Pakistan and China. Azerbaijan initially purchased 24 units of these fighters from Pakistan. The fighter jets also performed a flight over the Baku sky during the recent military parade held in Baku.
