Modern.az reports that a session has begun at the Binəqədi District Court regarding this matter. The court is reviewing the submission of the Ministry of Justice's Probation Service.
It is reported that Ağadadaş Ağayev will be released from the unserved portion of his conditional sentence.
It should be noted that in July 2024, an incident occurred between People's Artist Ağadadaş Ağayev and Nurəddin Cəlilov, a security guard at “Medera Hospital”. Ağadadaş Ağayev threw an axe at the security guard he was arguing with, and the axe struck N. Paşayeva, an employee of the clinic, causing injury. The security guard Nurəddin Cəlilov, in turn, beat the People's Artist. Ağadadaş Ağayev sued “Medera Hospital” for disputes arising from civil law violations – for the compensation of moral damages. In turn, Qaraxan Əliyev, the head of “Medera Hospital”, also filed a lawsuit against Ağadadaş Ağayev. The singer demanded approximately 450,000 manats from the clinic for moral damages, while the hospital demanded 500,000 manats from Ağadadaş Ağayev.
On January 8, a reconciliation was reached between People's Artist Ağadadaş Ağayev, the hospital, the security guard, and the cleaner.
Subsequently, in the proceedings held at the Binəqədi District Court, the court issued a decision to terminate People's Artist Ağadadaş Ağayev's civil lawsuit against “Medera Hospital”.
According to the verdict of the Binəqədi District Court, Nürəddin Cəlilov was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months of deprivation of liberty. Applying Article 70 (conditional conviction) of the Criminal Code, the sentence was considered conditional, and a probation period of 2 years was set. (Source: APA)
