Modern.az reports that the victim contacted the police and stated that an unknown person seized his mobile phone through open theft.
Police officers identified and detained 20-year-old V. Gadiyev, who is suspected of committing the aforementioned criminal act.
During another operation conducted in the district, 31-year-old K. Suleymanov, previously convicted and suspected of stealing a laptop and a mobile phone with a total value of 1300 manats belonging to two individuals, was also detained.
An investigation is underway regarding both incidents.
