In the draft budget of the State Oil Fund for 2026, a decrease in expenses related to the management of the Fund was observed compared to previous years.
Modern.az reports that this was included in the Opinion provided by the Chamber of Accounts on the 2026 budget of the State Oil Fund.
It was stated that, according to the draft budget, the total expenses related to the management of the Fund are projected to be 41.9 million manats in 2026. This indicator is 7.8 million manats or 22.9 percent higher compared to the corresponding execution indicator of 2024. At the same time, compared to the forecast indicator of 2025, expenses are 1.8 million manats or 4.1 percent lower.
It was noted that the decrease in expenses compared to the current year is mainly due to the reduction in funds allocated for the procurement of goods (works and services), as well as non-financial assets.
