In Azerbaijan, a father whose daughter received a marriage proposal requested a health certificate from the young man.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by personal development coach Gülgün Quliyeva. She assessed the situation as a positive step towards the future:
“Specifically, he asked if there were any venereal diseases (infections primarily transmitted from one person to another through sexual contact) or a history of them, and requested a drug test.
We are recovering, people. It is not the mother, but the father who is doing this,” she said.
