Infant food imported from Switzerland was NOT PERMITTED for sale

A contaminant has been detected in Swiss-origin baby food.

Modern.az reports that the Food Safety Agency has issued information regarding this. 

It has been reported that a notification was received by the Food Safety Agency via the European Union's “Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed” (RASFF) regarding the detection of the “Sereulid” contaminant in “Swissneo 1” brand baby food (with production and expiry dates of 09.10.2025-09.10.2027), produced by the “Hochdorf Swiss Nutrition Ltd” enterprise and imported into our country from Switzerland. 

Based on the notification, investigations were immediately initiated, and the release of that batch of the product into circulation was prevented.
