The chapter of war with Azerbaijan has been closed - Armenian Speaker

Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan considers the "war page between Armenia and Azerbaijan" closed.

Modern.az reports that, Simonyan stated the following in an interview with Factor TV:

"Unless any dramatic events occur, I believe it is unlikely that we will reopen this page. I consider this page closed".

According to Simonyan, the Armenian side's proposals and rhetoric regarding the closure of the Karabakh issue and the start of a period of peace "have been accepted by society.
