Narcotic drugs, confiscated in small and significant quantities based on court decisions, were destroyed in Jalilabad and Masally districts.
Information about this was provided to Modern.az by the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Trafficking.
It was reported that the permanently operating Working Group of the State Commission and the Jalilabad (23 judgments) and Masally (47 judgments) district commissions for the destruction of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their precursors, removed from illegal circulation or confiscated in small and significant quantities, carried out the destruction by burning of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their precursors under a total of 70 court judgments for which a destruction decision had been made.
The destruction process was carried out with the participation of an employee of the permanently operating Working Group of the State Commission, and a video recording was made and added to the acts along with the relevant data carrier.
