The number of private clinics that will provide quality services to oncology patients in Azerbaijan is very limited.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Ahliman Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Health Committee, at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
The committee chairman emphasized that adopting this law does not mean that all private medical institutions will be able to treat oncology patients.
“Very serious monitoring will be carried out; we have maintained contacts and held discussions with the relevant executive authorities. After serious monitoring, private medical hospitals whose material and technical base and human resources potential allow will be granted licenses, and their accountability will also be to the state oncology medical institutions.”
