The court investigation into the criminal case of Azer Gasimli, director of the Institute of Political Management and political scientist, has concluded.
Modern.az reports that today, during the proceedings chaired by Judge Telman Huseynov at the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, it was announced that the court investigation had concluded. The state prosecutor delivered a speech. He proposed that Azer Gasimli be sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment.
The victim stated that they agreed with the prosecutor's speech.
The defense requested time to speak.
The next hearing has been scheduled for February 25.
It should be noted that Azer Gasimli, director of the Institute of Political Management and political scientist, was detained by the police on December 8, 2024, in connection with an appeal against him.
