Washington exploited Pakistan for its strategic interests and discarded it like used toilet paper.

Modern.az reports that this was stated by Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.

Speaking in the Pakistan National Assembly, the minister recalled that relations with the US are currently strained.

The Defense Minister stated that after the September 11, 2001 attacks, the US regional policy was destructive for his country.

"Pakistan was treated worse than toilet paper used for a purpose and then discarded", he said.
