Turkey's Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that Hasbi Dede, the CHP municipal chairman of Görele district of Giresun, who harassed a 16-year-old girl by sending messages, has been removed from office.
It was stated in the announcement that Hasbi Dede, the CHP municipal chairman of Görele district of Giresun, has been suspended from office for the purpose of ensuring the proper conduct of the ongoing investigation, and the following information was provided:
“Pursuant to the authority granted to our Ministry by Article 127 of the Constitution and Article 47 of Municipal Law No. 5393; Görele municipal chairman Hasbi Dede, against whom judicial and administrative investigations are ongoing, has been suspended from office as a temporary measure.” (Trend)
