No significant change in weather conditions is forecast in Azerbaijan within the next 3 days.
Modern.az reports that Gülşad Məmmədova, Director of the Hydrometeorological Forecasts Bureau of the National Hydrometeorology Service under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, provided information on this matter.
She stated that on February 14, weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will be mostly rainless: “A moderate south-westerly wind will occasionally intensify. On the evening of February 14, it will be replaced by a north-westerly wind. On February 16, the south-westerly wind will intensify again. The maximum air temperature will be 15-20 degrees Celsius.”
Gülşad Məmmədova said that in the regions, the weather will also be mostly rainless in the coming days: “However, there is a possibility of short-term precipitation and snowfall in some mountainous areas during the daytime on February 14 and 15. A moderate westerly wind will occasionally intensify. The maximum air temperature will be 15-20 degrees Celsius in the Central Aran regions and 10-15 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas.” (AzərTac)
