Today, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Modern.az, during the conversation, the military clashes observed in the Middle East in recent days and the tension in the security environment were the main topic of discussion.
The parties expressed their deep concern regarding the current situation. The risks posed by the existing military escalation to regional stability were specifically noted, and it was emphasized that respect for the norms and principles of international law, and the resolution of the conflict through dialogue and political means are essential.
It was stated that ensuring the safety of civilians and civilian objects is a priority. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov conveyed his condolences regarding the deaths and injuries of civilians as a result of the confrontation.
The ministers also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
