Russian President Vladimir Putin offered condolences to his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian. 

Modern.az reports that Putin expressed deep sorrow regarding the assassination of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
