A fine will be imposed for not reporting signs of violence detected in children.

According to Modern.az, this is reflected in the new proposed articles 189-4 and 189-5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which were discussed at today's joint meeting of the Legal Policy and State Building, and Human Rights Committees of the Milli Majlis, held in video conference format.

Thus, according to the proposed article 189-4, for the failure of parents (persons replacing them), as well as employees of educational, medical, social service, sports, cultural, recreational, and penitentiary institutions responsible for supervising children, to report signs of violent acts detected in a child to the relevant law enforcement agencies or the local commission for the protection of children's rights in the respective territory, individuals will be fined in the amount of two hundred to three hundred manats, and officials will be fined in the amount of four hundred to six hundred manats.

According to the proposed article 189-5, for the failure to prevent continuous pressure and aggressive behavior towards children, including among children themselves, in educational, medical, social service, sports, cultural, recreational, and penitentiary institutions, individuals will be fined in the amount of three hundred to four hundred manats, and officials will be fined in the amount of five hundred to six hundred manats.
