The procedure for the initial military registration of male citizens of Azerbaijan has been approved.
Modern.az reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decision in this regard.
The procedure will define the rules for the initial military registration of male citizens of Azerbaijan who turn 15 in the current year and are up to 18 years of age, and will also ensure their initial military registration in the local main departments, departments, divisions, and sections of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, the initial determination of their fitness for fixed-term active military service, the organization of treatment for persons deemed temporarily unfit for military service, the formation of a conscription resource for fixed-term active military service, electronic notification of parents and the aforementioned citizens regarding initial registration, clear definition of their rights and duties, and the centralized, secure, and transparent management of the process.
