The city of Khankendi is preparing for a series of festive events on the occasion of Novruz Bayram. Within the framework of the holiday program, various events will be organized for city residents and guests.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in the city of Khankendi, and in Aghdara and Khojaly districts, on March 17, a festive bonfire will be lit in the city's central square on the occasion of Torpaq Chershenbesi (Earth Tuesday).
At the same time, a Novruz fair will be organized in the area of Victory Square, located in the city center. The fair, which will start on March 19, will continue until March 24.
At the fair, which will last for several days, entrepreneurs will carry out the sale and presentation of their products. Within the framework of the fair, entertaining games, various entertainment programs, and interesting events will be organized for children and youth, which will further enhance the festive atmosphere in the city. The main part of the festive events, however, will take place on March 20 at 19:00. On that day, a magnificent concert program titled “Spring Melody” will be organized in the city of Khankendi. The concert program will be held on the occasion of both Novruz Bayram and Ramadan Bayram. Following the concert, which will feature renowned singers, a magnificent festive fireworks display will be organized. Thus, the events to be held in the city of Khankendi during the holiday days will create a special festive atmosphere for residents and guests.
