Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the leaders of several countries on the occasion of Novruz holiday.

The Russian President sent congratulations on the occasion of Novruz holiday to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The congratulatory letters noted the high level of bilateral relations with CIS countries and expressed confidence that mutually beneficial, multifaceted ties with them will continue to develop successfully.
Novruz greetings were also sent to Iranian leaders - the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian. Vladimir Putin wished the Iranian people a dignified victory over these severe trials and emphasized that Moscow remains a loyal friend and reliable partner of Tehran during this difficult period.
