The US is considering the possibility of ending military operations against Iran.
According to Modern.az, US President Donald Trump stated this on his Truth Social platform. According to him, the US is very close to achieving its goals.
“The complete destruction of Iran's missile potential, launch facilities, and everything related to them, the neutralization of Iran's defense-industrial base, the elimination of its naval and air forces, including air defense systems, preventing Iran from even approaching nuclear potential, and being ready to react quickly and effectively if such situations arise, ensuring the highest level of defense for our allies in the Middle East – including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others”, - Trump wrote.
He also stated that countries using the Strait of Hormuz will have to defend it even without US assistance.
“If they ask, we will help them, but once the threat from Iran is eliminated, there will be no need for it”, – the US president stated.
The US-Israel coalition's attack against Iran began on February 28.
