Armenia should never have territorial claims against neighboring countries.
Modern.az, referring to Armenian media, reports that the country's parliament speaker Alen Simonyan told journalists this.
The speaker noted that Armenia should never have territorial claims against its neighbors.
"We must establish such relations in the region that no country thinks about attacking another. We must do everything in our power to ensure peace and prevent war in our region", - he emphasized.
Simonyan added that the adoption of Armenia's new Constitution is conditioned solely by the country's interests:
"I think about Armenia's interests. And Armenia is interested in having a Constitution that gives no one a reason to consider the country a threat in the region".
It should be recalled that territorial claims against Azerbaijan are included in the Constitution of Armenia.
