Tehran has allowed ships from Russia and other friendly countries to pass through the blockaded Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports, citing Tasnim, that this was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
He stated, "We have allowed several countries we consider friendly to pass through the Strait of Hormuz: for example, Russia, India, Iraq, China, and Pakistan. We see no reason to allow our enemies to use the strait."
Araqchi stated that Iran desires peace, not a ceasefire.
