Armenia's Civil Aviation Committee has responded to the claims circulating regarding the use of the country's airspace.
According to Modern.az, it was noted in the statement issued by the agency that Armenia has not imposed any restrictions on the use of its airspace for civil aircraft of any country, including Azerbaijan.
It was stated that unfounded speculations and disinformation are being spread regarding transit flights carried out over Armenia recently.
“According to the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation, no ICAO member state can apply discrimination in the use of its airspace”, – the Committee emphasized.
