The Main State Traffic Police Department (BDYPİ) has appealed to drivers regarding rainy weather conditions.

It was reported that the rainy and misty weather currently observed in the country, as well as foggy conditions occurring in some directions, create additional difficulties for road traffic:
"Reduced visibility and slippery road surfaces significantly increase the risk of accidents. The Main State Traffic Police Department calls on all road users to be more careful and responsible, taking into account the current weather conditions. Drivers are advised to choose their speed limit according to road and weather conditions when driving vehicles, to be prepared for sudden situations by increasing the distance between vehicles, and to exercise particular caution during maneuvers and overtaking. At the same time, the technical serviceability of wipers, lighting devices, and tires should be kept in mind".
The appeal emphasized that pedestrians, on the other hand, should cross the road only at designated places, ensure the road is safe before starting to move, and pay attention to being more clearly visible, especially in conditions of limited visibility.
