Currently, rainy weather conditions prevail in the republic, which not only creates an unfavorable environment for road users but also significantly increases the risk of accidents on the roads.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in an appeal from the Main State Traffic Police Department to drivers.
It was reported that preventive measures are being taken by State Traffic Police employees, who are serving in an enhanced work regime, to overcome the difficulties that have arisen:
"However, in rainy, drizzly weather, the slippery road surface, reduced visibility, and other critical weather conditions require drivers to be careful and strictly adhere to the rules. Taking into account the increased traffic intensity on the roads due to the return of the population traveling during holiday breaks to their permanent residences, we once again ask drivers to correctly assess the weather conditions, take preventive measures against potential dangers, and especially keep the speed limit, following distance, and technical serviceability of vehicles under control."
