The State Customs Committee (SCC) discovered more than 56 kilograms of marijuana in a vehicle carrying a cargo of "lettuce, celery, and cauliflower".

It was reported that, as a result of operational measures carried out by employees of the Bilasuvar Customs Department, a particularly large quantity of narcotic substance was identified and removed from illegal circulation.
A detailed customs inspection was applied to the vehicle carrying a cargo of "lettuce, celery, and cauliflower" at the "Bilasuvar" customs post with the help of a canine service dog. During the inspection, a particularly large quantity of narcotic substance – marijuana – with a total net weight of 56 kilograms 585 grams, which was packaged among the "lettuce" cargo in the vehicle and intended to be secretly passed through customs control, was discovered.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
