Information was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline regarding individual residential houses being flooded and people being in a helpless situation in Cığatay village, Khachmaz district, as a result of intense rainfall.
Regarding this, information was provided to Modern.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
It was reported that MES Civil Defense Troops and relevant rescue forces of the Northern Regional Center were immediately deployed to the area.
As a result of the measures taken, the evacuation of citizens in need of assistance and other necessary security measures were implemented.
As a result of the implemented measures, a total of 22 citizens, including 5 minors and 1 person with disabilities, were evacuated to a safe area.
