A criminal case has been initiated regarding the felling of 15 hornbeam trees and causing material damage of approximately 6 thousand manats to nature in the territory of Filfilli village of Oghuz district.
Regarding this, information was provided to Modern.az by the regional group of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was reported that, with measures carried out by police officers, Nicat Suleymanov, a 21-year-old resident of Khachmaz village, suspected of felling the trees, was detained.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated at the Oghuz District Police Department under the relevant article of the Criminal Code, and investigations are ongoing.
