During the 12 days of the intensified regime, 3157 trips were carried out from the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex, and 84,135 passengers were safely and comfortably delivered to their destinations.
Information on this was provided to Modern.az by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
It was reported that, compared to ordinary days, more than 450 additional trips were carried out to meet passenger demand.
To ensure the comfortable return of citizens traveling to the regions during the holiday period, appropriate conditions were created at regional bus terminals. Between March 19-30, approximately 116,000 passengers were transported on 18,000 trips from regional bus terminals to various destinations, including the capital.
"Tickets were provided to passengers from bus terminal ticket offices, as well as online via the biletim.az portal.
It should be noted that between March 19-21, 60% of passengers purchased their tickets online from the “biletim.az” portal. On other days, this figure was 35-40%. This is another record indicator. The demand of passengers transported from Baku to the regions and in the opposite direction has been fully met", the statement noted.
