In January of this year, 105 units of buses powered solely by electric motors, worth 29.083 million US dollars, were imported from China to Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports, citing the State Statistical Committee, that the value of one bus amounted to approximately 277 thousand manats.
According to the State Customs Committee, in total, in January of this year, 7,591 units of vehicles worth 176.5 million US dollars were imported to Azerbaijan. Compared to the same period last year, vehicle imports decreased by 72 units or 0.9% in quantity, and increased by 37.5 million US dollars or 27% in value.
During the period, the country imported 189 units of motor vehicles designed for transporting 10 or more persons, including the driver, worth 36.8 million US dollars, and 6,774 units of passenger cars and other motor vehicles primarily designed for transporting persons, worth 125.7 million US dollars.
