How much grain has been transported from Azerbaijan to Armenia in five months? - DISCLOSED

Armenia has imported 23,500 tons of grain from the territory of Azerbaijan by rail in the last five months.

Shipments are carried out by rail: from the territory of Azerbaijan to Georgia, then to Armenia.

Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

The Ministry of Economic Development announced that 6,600 tons of grain were sent from Kazakhstan and Russia in 2025.
However, in 2026, grain shipments were sent only from Russia and delivered to Armenia via Azerbaijan. This amounted to a total of 17,000 tons. Wheat constituted the majority of rail shipments.
