Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev on April 1.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States were discussed, and the organization's growing role as a multilateral platform was emphasized.
It was noted that cooperation among member states of the Organization in political, economic, transport, energy, and humanitarian fields has significantly expanded in recent years.
During the meeting, it was stated that during Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the OTS, efforts would continue to further develop cooperation and to enhance the organization's international prestige.
