The identities of the individuals who drew graffiti on the walls of the Nizami Cinema Center have been revealed.
According to Modern.az, these individuals are Bərxudayeva Münəvvər Taleh qızı, born in Baku in 2009, an 11th-grade student at “Landau School”; Muradi Layla Samir qızı, born in Baku in 2010, a 10th-grade student at “Landau School”; Qaraşlı Şəfiqə Farid qızı, born in Baku in 2010, a 9th-grade student at School No. 10; and Ardeshir Seyfpour Saad Abadi, born in Iran in 2006, a citizen of Belarus residing in Azerbaijan since 01.09.2024, and a second-year student at ADA University.
Ardeshir Seyfpour Saad Abadi is a graffiti designer and has shared his graffiti samples on an account named “temacreworiginal” on “Instagram”.
Ardeshir Seyfpour Saad Abadi's father, Omid Seyfpour Saad Abadi, has been living in Azerbaijan since 2024 and works as a manager at the “Denizkala” company.
Layla Muradi's father, Muradi Samir, is the general director of “Best Events” LLC.
Şəfiqə Qaraşlı's father, Qaraşov Farid, is engaged in taxi services.
Münəvvər Bərxudayeva's father, Bərxudayev Taleh, is a service operator at a branch of “Halliburton Eurasia Limited”.
It should be noted that on the night of April 1-2, the building of the Nizami Cinema Center, a national architectural monument (inventory number 123) located at Bülbül Avenue 20, Baku, was subjected to intervention.
The aforementioned individuals defaced the building's facade with paint, writing various words and phrases.
The intervention on the building was rectified within a short period, and its original appearance was restored.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the drawing of graffiti on the wall of the Nizami Cinema Center.
It should be emphasized that the incident has led to discussions and condemnation in public opinion. The damage to the wall of a historical and cultural monument in the center of Baku is regarded as an act of vandalism.
