From April 3 to 5, a reception is being held in the building of our country's Consulate General in Istanbul for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan residing in Turkey, for the purpose of issuing and replacing identity cards, as well as replacing driving licenses.
Modern.az reports that the mobile “ASAN service” has been jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
The list of required documents for the services citizens wish to use has been posted on the official website of the Consulate General.
During the reception, within 3 days, 651 people were received for the issuance and replacement of identity cards, and 153 people for the replacement of driving licenses.
The project is planned to be held in other foreign countries in the future as well.
