Humanitarian aid sent to Iran crossed the border

In accordance with the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the next humanitarian aid, dispatched from Baku via 10 trucks (TIR) on April 4, crossed into the Islamic Republic of Iran through the "South-Astara" state border checkpoint.

Modern.az reports that the humanitarian aid, with a total volume of 200 tons, includes 190 tons of food and food products, 7 tons of medicines, and 3 tons of medical supplies.

It should be noted that the aid was provided in accordance with the telephone conversation held on March 8, 2026, between Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Masoud Pezeshkian. The aim is to support the fulfillment of the current needs of the neighboring and friendly Iranian people.
