The continuation of rainy weather conditions has made traffic difficult and caused congestion in some directions on the capital's roads.
Modern.az reports that the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued a statement regarding this.
It was noted that road police officers are taking necessary measures to increase traffic intensity, reduce congestion on congested roads in various directions, as well as for road safety purposes.
Current road situation:
1. Baku-Sumgayit highway, towards "20 January" metro station;
2. Ali Mustafayev street, towards Ziya Bunyadov avenue;
3. Ziya Bunyadov avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli street to the intersection with Ataturk avenue;
4. Ziya Bunyadov avenue, from in front of Baku Olympic Stadium towards "20 January" metro station;
5. Ziya Bunyadov avenue, from the intersection with Abdulvahab Salamzade street towards Ahmad Rajabli street;
6. 1st Lake Shore road, towards Ziya Bunyadov avenue;
7. Heydar Aliyev avenue, service road, towards the center;
8. Khatai avenue, towards Heydar Aliyev avenue;
9. Ataturk avenue, towards Ziya Bunyadov avenue;
10. Bakikhanov street, from the intersection with Inshaatchilar avenue towards "Dede Gorgud" park;
11. Tbilisi avenue, from "20 January" metro station towards the center;
12. Yusif Safarov street, towards the center;
13. Abdulvahab Salamzade street, towards Ziya Bunyadov avenue;
14. 8 November avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov street towards the center;
15. Mikayil Mushfig street, from "Badamdar" circle towards school-lyceum No. 20;
16. Niyazi street, towards "Azneft" circle;
17. Heydar Aliyev avenue, main road, towards the center;
18. Binagadi highway, congestion is observed towards "Azadlig Avenue" metro station.
Drivers are advised to observe the speed limit, maintain a safe distance, and be attentive to pedestrians.
