Due to unstable weather conditions observed in Azerbaijan, temporary restrictions have been imposed on ship movement in some ports.
Modern.az reports that Pervana Imanova, press secretary of the State Maritime and Port Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, provided information on this matter.
“Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the entry and exit of ships to the Garadagh, Dubandi, and Sahil ports have been temporarily suspended. Operations continue normally in other ports,” she emphasized.
It should be noted that unstable weather conditions currently prevail across the country. According to information, the amount of precipitation recorded in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on April 5-6 was 90 mm. This constitutes 390% of the monthly norm. The observed unstable weather conditions are predicted to continue in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula until the evening of April 6.
