Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, visited the aforementioned area in connection with the landslide threat that has emerged in the area where the Bibiheybət road passes, in Sabail district, Baku city, due to the intensive rains in recent days.

It was noted that the minister familiarized himself with the situation on site, and an exchange of views was held with Feyruz Mustafayev, Head of the Construction, Urban Planning and Communal Services Department of the Cabinet of Ministers, Vusal Nasirli, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, and officials and specialists from other relevant agencies.
Also, the steps to be taken were discussed and relevant instructions were given.
It should be noted that on April 5-6, the amount of precipitation in Baku city and the Absheron Peninsula exceeded the monthly norm by 4 times.
