Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the ruling “Civil Contract” faction in Armenia, has attracted attention with his statements regarding his son.
Modern.az reports that in a conversation with journalists, the deputy confirmed that his son was not serving in the military and justified this with his high level of knowledge:
“My son is a very highly educated person. If you had as much knowledge as he does, you wouldn't serve either,” he stated.
Kocharyan added that questions regarding this matter should be addressed to law enforcement agencies:
“Yes, my son has not served; address your inquiries to the Prosecutor General,” the deputy emphasized.
