Work to eliminate the consequences caused by intensive rains, carried out by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, continued uninterruptedly yesterday and during the night hours.
Information on this was provided to Modern.az by the press service of the MES.
It was reported that currently, relevant safety measures, including water pumping operations, are being carried out in the Nizami, Sabunchu, Surakhani, Binagadi, and Sabail districts of Baku city, as well as in Sumgayit city and the Absheron, Khizi, Shabran, and Khachmaz districts.
It should be noted that measures to eliminate the consequences are being carried out by the forces of the Civil Defense Troops of the MES, the State Fire Protection Service, the Special Risky Rescue Service, the State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue, and the Baku and Sumgayit Regional Centers.
